About Ewa

Story

My interest in women’s health while still in school, conducting research on women’s hormonal health. I discovered then, that when it comes to western medicine, men and women are not created equal. Until recently, the male body was the universal model for anatomy studies and clinical trials mainly involved men, because women were simply considered “small men”. Much about women’s health is still misunderstood, under research and often misdiagnosed.

I knew then that I wanted to help empower women to reclaim their health. After graduation, I started a private consulting practice focusing on women’s health. A few years later, I began clinical work at BodaHealth - a multidisciplinary wellness centre in Vancouver specializing in women's health and natural fertility. Working with women who were trying to conceive - either naturally, or with the help of IVF intervention - was an eye-opening experience. I witnessed the frustration so many women experience at the lack of credible nutritional information and guidance.

My own pregnancy confirmed the lack of credible nutrition resources for women during and after pregnancy. The nutrition advice I was given by the medical community was mostly limited to "take a prenatal vitamin”.

Enter Feed Fertility.

I created Feed Fertility from an innate desire to help women fulfil their dreams of motherhood and support them on their journey. By providing guidance that optimizes fertility, balance and well-being, I hope to empower women to connect with the life-giving power within.

"My ultimate objective is to empower you to improve your health and quality of life, by learning how to truly honour your body. I do this by translating female-focused, evidenced-based knowledge into practical solutions tailored to your unique needs and goals." - Ewa Reid
